Dark Room: Fragment from „Schnell Zerlegt / Quickly Disassembled “, presentation at Kunstraum Düsseldorf, 2013.In a dark room a identical slide back-projector is installed which projects on to black cloth. A loop of slides shows the forging process of scissors and other cutting tools, which can be quickly disassembled. One pair of produced but disassembled scissor halfs are positioned on the light box suitcase (console mounted on the wall) in the bright exhibition space.

Offset-Multiple in A5 (ed. of 5000) with letters originally drawn by a CD-marker. Each visitor received the card in the presentation space. The letters also appear as video overlays in the projection.


APORIA ICH FAHRTE ZU DIE ELEFANTEN MICHAEL HEYM

The film is projected in the standing box of a plywood roof trap door with two cut out forms. While the forms resemble the letters of the card they also function as a mask for a second level of projection on the wall behind. Super8 and DV transferred to DVD, 5 min- Loop with 30s of darkness, Beamer, inactive Super-8 projector.

After taking a photo of the given situation with the small concrete elements much bigger elements were built and installed at a public site one year after the first photo. The bigger works were scaled due to their size in memory.
